Separate sealed Bids for the Route 460 Water Line Replacement Project - Phase I for the Town of Tazewell, which consists of the following:

The materials required to replace various sized water line with 12-inch water line, the materials required to install a 6-inch pressure reducing station, and the materials required to construct an aerial bridge crossing, and the materials required for service connections.

will be received by Ms. Leeanne Regon, Town Manager, at the Town of Tazewell Office, 211 Central Avenue Tazewell, Virginia 24651, until 2:00 P.M., local prevailing time, on May 29, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The Bid packages may be examined at the Town of Tazewell Office, 211 Central Avenue, Tazewell, Virginia 24651 and online at TRASCO (http://www.trascoplanroom.com).

Copies of the Contract Documents (electronic and/or hard copy) are available for purchase through TRASCO at http://www.trascoplanroom.com.

Withdrawal of bids shall be according to procedure (i) of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and to the Code of Virginia (§ 2.2-4330)

This project is being funded by The Virginia Department of Health-Office of Drinking Water State Revolving Fund; as such, Bidders must comply with all applicable requirements instituted by the Virginia Department of Health as outlined in the bid package.

MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids.  Bidders must comply with the following: the President’s Executive Order #11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex, or national origin; the President’s Executive Orders #12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms; the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Davis-Bacon Act; and Section 436 of P. L. 113-76, American Iron and Steel.    Bidders must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin.

The Contract(s) shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder(s).

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids if it appears in its best interest to do so.

Save your file. Typically it saves by default to your ( Downloads ) folder.
Open your File Explorer and browse to your ( Downloads ) Folder.
Find the Download_###.zip file you downloaded. Right Click on the Download_####.zip file and click ( Extract All ). A Window will popup Extract Compressed ( Zipped ) Folders. The default should extract and create a sub-folder in your Downloads folder with the PDF files inside. Keep your ZIP Files in case you misplace, delete or corrupt your PDF file(s). You can always just extract them again. Once you have extracted the files this way you can move the unpacked folder or files. If you try to move the files out of the zip file any other way you run the risk of corrupting the pdf file(s)…
