New Western Lee County Health Clinic

Separate sealed Bids for the New Western Lee County Health Clinic, which consists of the construction and site development for a new 11,642 sq. ft. health clinic to serve Western Lee County, Virginia, for Stone Mountain Health Services will be received electronically online at https://www.tlplanroom.com until 2:00 P.M., local prevailing time, on July 1, 2025, and then publicly opened and read aloud virtually.  Contact Thompson & Litton, Inc. for the link to the virtual bid opening.

The Contract Documents may be examined at Stone Mountain Health Services, 276 Fieldstone Drive, Jonesville, Virginia 24263; at Thompson & Litton, 103 E. Main Street, Wise, VA; and online at TRASCO (http://www.trascoplanroom.com).

Copies of the Contract Documents (electronic and/or hard copy) are available for purchase through TRASCO at http://www.trascoplanroom.com.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on June 11, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.  All interested parties are requested to meet the Architect at Western Lee Health Center, 1446 Dr. Thomas Walker Road, Ewing, Virginia 24248, and then to the project site (Intersection of Doc Hurst Road and US RT 58 East, Ewing, VA) at that time.

Withdrawal of bids shall be according to procedure (i) of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and to the Code of Virginia (§ 2.2-4330).

Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.

Each Bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia; Bidders are instructed to review the Code of Virginia, Title 54.1, Chapter 11, prior to bidding.

The Owner does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia, § 2.2-4343.1.

MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit Bids. 

The Contract(s) shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder(s). 

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids if it appears in its best interest to do so.

Instructions for Downloads & Extracting Files.

Click the download button.
The download queue shows your items selected to download.
Click Continue to enter payment information. Click Submit Payment to download the files.
Note the filename ( Download_#### ) if you need to search for it later.
Save your file. Typically it saves by default to your ( Downloads ) folder.
Open your File Explorer and browse to your ( Downloads ) Folder.
Find the Download_###.zip file you downloaded. Right Click on the Download_####.zip file and click ( Extract All ). A Window will popup Extract Compressed ( Zipped ) Folders. The default should extract and create a sub-folder in your Downloads folder with the PDF files inside. Keep your ZIP Files in case you misplace, delete or corrupt your PDF file(s). You can always just extract them again. Once you have extracted the files this way you can move the unpacked folder or files. If you try to move the files out of the zip file any other way you run the risk of corrupting the pdf file(s)…
