Public Projects

This project consists of the removal, restoration, and reinstallation of existing bronze doors, (2) pairs, as noted on bidding plan sheets, at the Mercer County courthouse. Includes secure temporary doors with electronic hardware to be installed while existing doors are being restored. Includes the polishing of existing decorative grilles above the existing doors (to remain in place).

The project includes substantial renovation of a 16,000 SF downtown commercial building in Martinsville, Virginia. A renovation of this building was planned in late 2023, but that project did not go to construction. The current project is considerably different in design from the previous project: the roofing has already been replaced; the lower level will have two large apartments along with commercial storage unit space; the main level will renovated retail space; the existing second floor infill with be demolished with the roof structure altered to allow high ceilings in four luxury apartments; and the building will now have a three-stop elevator. The previous project was going to use historic tax credits; this project will not.ated site utility work. Second floor renovations will include major demolition of the interior and re-structuring of the roof.

The project is generally described as a repair and replace brick, pre-cast units, window and door sealant and penetration for watertight façade. Work includes associated asbestos abatement demolition.

This project includes (all values are approximate) 27 stormdrain structures, 1150 linear feet of 15” to 24” HDPE Pipe, 32 linear feet of RCP, several short concrete aprons/channels, and associated concrete and asphalt work. Also included are relocations of all interfering utilities including, but not limited to: water, sanitary sewer, stormdrain, gas, electric, fiber optic, and communications, along with bypass pumping, restoration, appurtenances, etc. Price shall encompass a complete project, per the plans and specifications, to include but not limited to, mobilization; permits; erosion & sediment control; demolition; trenching, sheeting, shoring and dewatering; bedding, pipe installation, backfill, and compaction; utility replacements, relocations, or temporary bracing and shoring; temporary patching and permanent pavement replacement; re-establishment of green areas and landscaping; and all elements necessary to complete the Work in a complete and first class manner.

This project consists of installing new fully adhered EPDM membrane over new insulation on existing roof deck following complete tear-off of existing membrane roof and built-up roof system. Additional work will include replacement of perimeter gravel stop/coping. Some mechanical units may require raising to meet the required clearance for warranty.

The project is generally described as removal of existing roof system (metal deck to remain) and replace with new.

The project consists of the installation of approximately 4.5 miles of new aerial fiber and 0.63 miles of buried fiber in Nicholas County, West Virginia. The project will consist of the installation of aerial fiber along existing right-of-way on existing utility poles. The primary purpose of the project is to deploy a fiber solution that will provide businesses and residents of the project area with broadband services of at least 25/3 Mbps.
